Womens Health Reproductive Function

The evaluation of women's reproductive health.
Women have been blessed with the power to give birth to another human being.

In olden times, the reproductive functions of women have drawn so much awe from people that in some parts of the world, the event of giving birth is considered as holy. In our modern times, the reproductive functions of women have taken yet another turn. As cases of breast cancer, cervical cancer and other forms of diseases beset the reproductive organs of women in our modern times, these have now become one of the major concerns now in women reproductive health.

As more and more women all over the United States are suffering from breast cancer, some sectors expressed their alarm over women's reproductive health. Studies have shown that over the last few years, there have been alarming increases in breast cancer in some parts of the United States that prompted several organizations including the Center for Disease and Control to control some studies on this threat to women's reproductive health. Accordingly, breast cancer is largely dependent on the genes of the woman. If there have been a history of breast cancer in the family, chances are, the succeeding generation of women in the family will also have the disease. However, until now, there are still no conclusive reports from studies conducted on what are the causes of breast cancer and how it can be avoided. Nevertheless, the good news is, where breast cancer is detected at an early stage, there is a big possibility that it can be cured completely.

Aside from breast cancer, ovarian and cervical cancers are also some of the recognized threats to women's reproductive health in the United States. Like breast cancer, there are on going studies on these diseases but there are still no conclusive findings that would point out to the root cause of the problem and how to avoid it.
